Yes — we’re happy to provide a free quote for most jobs. For straightforward repairs we can often give an estimate over the phone. For larger projects like bathroom renovations or heating upgrades, we’ll arrange a visit to assess the work before providing a full written quote.
No. We believe in honest, transparent pricing. We’ll always tell you what a job will cost before we start. There are no surprise charges at the end of the visit — what we quote is what you pay.
Absolutely. All our plumbers are fully qualified and insured. We carry full public liability insurance on every job, giving you complete peace of mind that the work is carried out safely and professionally.
Bookings Callouts
We aim to respond to emergency callouts as quickly as possible. Being based in Carrigaline, we can typically reach most parts of Cork — including Douglas, Blackrock, Ballincollig, and surrounding areas — within a short timeframe. Call us and we’ll do our best to get to you quickly.
We cover a wide area across Cork, including Douglas, Carrigaline, Ballincollig, Bishopstown, Mahon, Blackrock, Togher, Glanmire, Little Island, and Cork City Centre. If you’re unsure whether we cover your area, just give us a ring.

Our regular hours are Monday to Friday, 8am–6pm. For urgent or emergency jobs outside these hours, we’d encourage you to contact us and we’ll do our best to help. Please note that out-of-hours rates may apply.
Heating & Boilers
We recommend having your boiler serviced annually, regardless of whether it’s a gas or oil boiler. Regular servicing keeps your boiler running efficiently, extends its lifespan, and ensures it’s operating safely. It can also help you spot potential issues before they become expensive repairs.
First, check your thermostat settings and ensure the boiler is showing no error codes. Check that your pilot light is lit (for older boilers) and that the timer is set correctly. If you’ve checked these basics and still have no heat, give us a call and we’ll arrange a visit to diagnose the issue.
If your boiler is over 10–15 years old, breaking down frequently, or becoming inefficient, replacement may be more cost-effective in the long run. However, many issues can be repaired quickly and affordably. We’ll always give honest advice on the best option for your home and budget.
Yes. Even if your boiler appears to be working normally, internal components can wear over time. A service ensures it’s operating safely, burning fuel efficiently, and not producing dangerous emissions. Preventative maintenance is far cheaper than emergency repairs.
Bathroom Renovations
The duration depends on the scope of the renovation. A straightforward bathroom refresh (replacing fixtures and fittings) can take a few days. A full bathroom renovation — including tiling, new plumbing, and fitting — typically takes one to two weeks. We’ll give you a clear timeline at the quote stage.
